Discrete Math |
Discrete Math has grown rapidly and has become a significant area of mathematics. It provides a framework for decisions that you will need to make in your own lives, in your professions, and in your roles as citizens. It has many practical applications that can help students see the relevance of mathematics to the real world. It is challenging but also fun to do. It is often geometry based, and can stimulate an interest in mathematics in students at all levels and of all abilities.

Precalculus |
Precalculus is a rigorous look at the concept of functions, analyzing families of functions, and applying and modeling with functions. The course will be a culmination of previous mathematical study (arithmetic, algebra, geometry). We will engage in authentic mathematical activity, experiencing mathematics as a coherent and sensible subject and will bring together many approaches to mathematical thinking.
